tecRacer Group defies shortage of skilled workers and welcomes 100th employee!

“No workers! …” – Team tecRacer is not familiar with this exasperated exclamation.

On the contrary: The IT service provider with headquarters in Hanover is living up to its name and growing rapidly. Managing Director Gregor Püttmann is pleased about the arrival of computer scientist Mikołaj Wawrzyniak, whom he welcomed today in Duisburg as the 100th employee.

When asked why the sought-after professional chose tecRacer, Mikołaj Wawrzyniak has a clear answer: “At tecRacer, creative opportunities, eye level and appreciation are not empty words!”. A nice compliment for the young cloud service provider, which regularly receives interesting initiative applications for all locations.

As an employer, we are in the applicant shoes – we understood that years ago.” emphasizes Torsten Höpfner, one of the managing directors of tecRacer GmbH & Co. KG. “We put ourselves in our candidates’ shoes and ask ourselves what is important to people. This is not about kicker tables, espresso machines and similar superficial things. In addition to attractive customer projects, it is primarily about self-determination and personal responsibility. We are convinced that employees and customers are of equal value. No one gets burned out here. Word gets around!”

The change of perspective leads to success:
tecRacer started in 2007 with 15 employees and developed into a leading cloud service provider with offices in Duisburg, Frankfurt and Munich. Today, the team consists of 100 professionals around the topics of consulting, training, development and managed services in Amazon Web Services. In addition to Amazon Web Services, tecRacer also develops solutions based on Salesforce, SAP and other areas of the enterprise cloud.

This business year, 17 new hires are planned, as well as the opening of the Hamburg office. In particular, the range of consulting and training services will be expanded. In addition, young talent will be generated from the company’s own ranks and new trainees in the field of IT will be sought and recruited again this year.
