The AWS European Sovereign Cloud was developed specifically for organizations that have increased requirements for data sovereignty, compliance, and data protection, while also wanting to leverage the benefits of a comprehensive, technically advanced, and high-performance cloud environment. It is operated separately from the global AWS Cloud, fully hosted within the EU, and managed by employees based in the European Union.
This ensures that modern cloud applications can be built and operated fully compliant with the key regulatory requirements of the EU and the DACH region.

As an ESC launch partner, we aim to help the European economy leverage the benefits of cloud technologies while meeting growing demands for sovereignty and compliance.
The launch of the European Sovereign Cloud is planned for November 2025. The final availability of the platform and individual features have therefore not been announced yet. Nevertheless, we are already supporting companies and organizations in analyzing their requirements for secure cloud solutions and with initial proof-of- concepts. Based on the current state of knowledge, the foundations can thus be laid at an early stage so that technical implementation can begin quickly after market launch.
